Time flies slowly

Being without kitchen and living on a construction site for two weeks with cats and two small children is not really recommended... It is very stressful and frustrating and the few moments of calmness now and then are rather spent without the computer on my lap. We have hopes it will be finished before the coming weekend, but just thinking on all the dust and garbage that needs to be taken care afterwards... Well, let us just say it has not been a fun experience ;)

The cats are just fine and they take the mess without complaints. We spend as much time as possible together with them and they are sweet and cuddly. Of course, Ivette and Kiwawa gets to run freely every day. Syriana and Bridget loves to play together.

More news whenever I feel like spending a few hours by the computer. That will not be the case today and tomorrow I have not got the time, so don't be frustrated if there are no news in a few days.

They are here!

Our sheep arrived to our home last Saturday! Joanna got to name them so the four girls are called princess names: Snövit (Snow White), Törnrosa (Sleeping Beauty), Ariel, Yasmine and the boy is called Aladdin. They were not that used to people but they are getting friendlier for each day. Today I wished I would have had a camera available when Aladdin and Ivette were standing nose to nose :) The picture shows Ariel. More pictures of them will be found on our farm website later.

Desperado left for his new home in Finland today and he took the trip just fine. A part of me wished he would have stayed, but we have too few girls for him so it would have made no sense...

Movie-litter 12 weeks

A bit late, but a few pictures today - more on their own pages some other day!
Memento now lives in Elrilar's cattery in Germany, where he settled in at once. Thanks for giving Memento a great home, Karin! It was great fun having you and Anja here!
Desperado's new owner comes later today...
Serenity now lives together with Tigrinya in Gothenburg. Thanks Emely and Andreas for taking great care of our two beauties!
Sweet Syriana - our little doll. It will be tough to let her go when she is four months...
Nessie is simply beautiful and the sweetest creature! I cannot thank you enough Annika that she could live with us!

Finally back online!

It's been too long without internet, so now I have loads to attend to... It will take a while until I finish all updates and find time to answer all emails, so please have patience!

Serenity and Memento have both moved to their new homes and later this week Desperado will move as well. I'm glad that the first two settled in without problems :)

We have a busy time the coming weeks as our home is under redecoration. This morning the carpenters tore down our entire kitchen and started to take down a wall between two rooms. The floor is also torn out and tomorrow the ceiling in the kitchen will go. Feels like a good time to be away over the day at a work-related "kick-off" tomorrow - hopefully it will be a little bit less mess when I come home again ;) Being without a kitchen with two small children is not very fun, but we try to focus on how beautiful our kitchen/living room will be when it is finished...

Big congrats to Elsie/S*Kiss Curl's for the nice show results this weekend: IC S*Restless Yawning Angel got CAGCIB both days and was nominated one (with one vote!) and her lookalike daughter Ylva who also was nominated one day.

This might take a while...

The phone lines at home is still not working and at the moment we do not know how big damage the thunderstorm actually did... If we are unlucky all computer equipment got lost :( Cannot even get the printer working...

The kittens are doing just fine. They get more beautiful and cuddly for each day! Tomorrow they will get their last vaccination, veterinary examination and microchip and I hope all will go just great. On Saturday they turn 12 weeks of age and during the following week Serenity, Memento and Desperado will move to their new homes. Syriana will stay with us for another month.

Kiwawa took the neutering just great and now it has been ten days and the wound has healed just perfectly. She will now start being outdoors just like Ivette.

Ivette just loves it outdoors and I was a bit amazed that she suddenly get no problem from the dry food at home (even if we changed back to a brand she usually cannot eat because of the kittens) but a few days ago I got the answer to that - she eats mice nowadays! Well, that is perfect food for cats, so why not?!

Bridget is nowadays almost as big as the other girls :) Just as sweet and beautiful as ever!

Pictures of the little ones will of course be on our website as soon as we have working computers at home, but I must warn you that it might take weeks... I will try to arrange to send some by email to those of you waiting through Lars at work ;)

Still, if you need to reach us I will keep trying visiting the library a few times a week. I never realised how much I really need computers at home ;)

Still offline :(

Really sorry, but the phone lines are still broken and we have neither telephone nor internet until the phone company manage to fix it... It might not be fixed until next week if we are unlucky :( If you need to reach us quickly, the mobile is the only way! Right now I sit at the local library and my time is almost up...

Everything is fine with the kittens :) They are sweet and beautiful still ;)

Just a quick show report as well! S*Restless Illyrian made his show debut on Sunday in Stockholm and the judge put him in his bag and told the owner she wanted to take him back home with her to Finland ;) He got a super judgement and was Ex1 BIV 3-10. Being 3 months and a few days old, it was a great start :) Big congrats, Frida-Marie! GIC S*Restless Nightcrawler got his second CACE on Saturday and was Ex2 on Sunday. Also want to send congrats to Finland and the two offspring of Explorer: Roope and Helena who both was nominated and Helena won Best in Show! Big congrats Mikael and Karita!

Struck by lightning

Our phone-line was hit by lightning last night, and is down together with our Internet access until further notice. If you want to reach us, only cell-phone +46-704-882017 and SMS will work for now. No one has been hurt, just some electrical equipment and the phone jacks.
