Desperado Junior Winner, Jeppson one year and sheep

Absolutely very exciting to get reports by SMS this weekend concerning Desperado who was on a big show in Finland! We are so proud that he got Best in Show both days and hereby gained a Junior Winner-title! Again huge congrats to owners Foxypaws in Finland and big, big thanks for taking great care of him and taking him to shows to make this possible! We are amazed to have two JW's in the litter and knowing that the siblings are of just the same high quality we are so proud we could burst ;)

Here at home we have three cute lambs and (probably) one more coming anyday. We said we never would, but we ended up bottle-feeding one of them, named Mulan by Joanna... She is a cutie and follows us like a puppy on high legs. She likes to be carried and cuddled with and has such a strong will to survive, even though it breaks my heart to see her being alienated from the other sheep (accept her mum who won't let her suckle). I hope we made the right decision...
Funny colour, looking like a German shepherd except her white markings ;)
She likes to cuddle...
Joanna had so much fun playing with Mulan today. They were running around and Mulan was following Joanna's every step.
Here is the third lamb, curious over the camera. She and the first-born are so fun to watch as they jump around and play :)

Jeppson turned one year of age last week. He is still developing nicely and perhaps he will become a father for the first time in June. Well, no signs yet but no heat period either...

China on show

Yesterday I spent on a cat show in Jönköping together with China. She was strangely enough alone female 6-10 months in group 6, but got a fantastic judgement. China's bone structure is impressive :) She lost the BIV to a young male in 3-6 but the NOM she got easily over a birman kitten. With 11 judges, the votes were a bit scattered in the final, but we are proud that China got two of them as the winner is a fantastic young ragdoll female. As I worked as steward (for the first time), I had too little time to talk to friends and look at beautiful cats, but it was a nice day in all anyway.

At home we got two more lambs, but none of the females recognise one of them as her own so it will probably not make it :(

Bääääää

Our first-born baby sheep! It seems to be a female and her weight at one day of age was 2.4 kilos. Quite different feeling to hold one of these compared to the cats.
Such a cutie, even though the black markings are far from symmetrical ;)
Proud mum (Jasmin) and dad (Aladdin) together with little Arwen(?).
