One show day

Yesterday, we went to a show in Värnamo. It was nicely organised and the show ended in time. Actually, it would be nice with more shows with only category II one day.

Since Tristan has a tiny medallion, he got to compete in group 4. There he had three competitors and we were proud that he won Ex1. The BIV went to the female in class 12 (a couple of days from 6 months old) who later also got NOM and BIS. Big congrats!

Kit Kat Jam was the only boy in group 8 class 12 but got a nice judgement. He won BIV over the females and later also NOM. In the end he got one vote out of eight which is great.

Pointy, Nessie's daughter living in S*Zarkesha's cattery, got her third CAC in competition with three other girls. The competition for BIV was tough, but Pointy came out the winner! She was later also NOM. A stunning birman lady got most of the votes and became BIS. Big congrats Carro to Pointy's nice show results and also her Champion-title and judge's favourite!

In Norway, SeaMonkey was on show both Saturday and Sunday and got CAC both days, making him Champion. Big congrats to owner Wenche at (N)Tunballen's cattery!

Dollhouse-babies four weeks of age

Sierra is a very strong-built girl, incredibly cute and purring loudly.
Topher is big and strong, but looks a bit funny at the moment as he lost all his wool on his body... Tail, face and legs are still furry, but on his body there is only guard hairs left... Well, after a few days, we already notice that the wool is growing out. It might be a reaction on mummy's deworming some days before he lost all coat or perhaps something else altogether. The important thing is the fact that he will look perfectly normal in time. Since this is China's third litter and she has had no problems earlier and we have not seen this in the lines of his father, we think we can rule out the possibility of something hereditary. Well, he is a big, strong and heavy (670 grams) boy with a sweet temperament, looking just like daddy (but red).
Tristan is a sweet and social boy, waving his tail like crazy when he is happy (most of the time) and purring a lot. Quite pleased that we decided he should stay :)

Bah x 2 - yet again

Two more lambs arrived today! Quite marvellous to witness the birth of the first of these two - the first time for me to see it happen.

Wishing all our friends out there a fantastic Easter holiday!

Bah x 2 - again

Yesterday (Saturday), we got two more lambs. Such cuties! The older ones already run around, playing with each other a bit. They grow a bit faster than cats ;)
Friday evening both Anileah and Tingeling left for their new homes. Saturday, Spinner and Bergtuva left as well. Silverdagg will move on Tuesday. Tristan will grace us with his presence quite some time, I hope :)
