Last to leave

We got to enjoy the presence of Nite Owl a few extra weeks and it made it even harder to let go when his new owners came to bring him to their home. The last hour in our house, he spent sleeping on my stomach, lying on his back, his paws pointing in all directions. I loved to see the way his development exploded the last month. After his slow start, the bottle feeding and slow weight gain no one believed in him, although I remembered the potential I saw in him as a newborn. When he moved, he had strong boning with excellent proportions. I really liked his headshape (although the profile would need some more time to stretch out) with rounded forehead and chin, lovely expression and tufted ears. We look forward to see whether he will keep his extra bright silver coat, looking like shaded silver at the moment, or if it was just 'fever' coat...

Wishing him all the best in his new home!

Unfortunately Tigrinya fooled us... We hope she will approve of her date this summer instead.

Instead of delaying all our other plans, we might as well let one of the girls meet her special someone earlier than planned, so we will see if China might be the next in line here.

We are still waiting impatiently on Nessie to start calling, but since she adopted Nite Owl the past week and the winter, she has no spring feelings whatsoever.

Old and new kittens

Our home feels empty now that almost all kittens have moved to their new homes.

We wish River and Jubal Early a long and happy life in Germany, where they live together with the other lovely cats at Belminis cattery. Thanks Roswitha that we could bring Jubbe with us to a cat show before he moved and it was great fun meeting you both!

Jubal Early was at NERKs show in Örebro and got Ex1 (in competition with three other fluffy male kittens) and BIV 3-10 months! We were proud to hear his excellent judgement.

Rorschach has joined the crowd at S*Medaljens cattery, where Bergtuva and Illyrian lives. He charmed his way into his new familys' hearts in no time and found several playmates. Thanks Frida-Marie with family for opening up your home for yet another of our precious darlings!

Doctor Manhattan lives with a young couple in Gothenburg and will surely be thoroughly spoilt.

Also Ozymandias has found his new home and we wish him a great life with his new owner in Gothenburg.

Nite Owl will move in the end of February.

Last, we want to gossip somewhat: Tigrinya expect kittens in the middle of February and we expect large and strongly-built kittens with harmonic type and excellent NFO look. More info soon!
